- ¿Cómo es tu vida últimamente? ¿Qué haces para vivir?
Pues mi vida es muy complicada. Para vivir trabajo y para desestresar patino que es donde mas disfruto en mi vida.

¿Cómo es vivir con Kiku y Steven? Se sincero.
La verdad es que es la hostia me lo paso genial, con Kiku la tranquilidad suya y con Steven disfruto de los mejores vinos de la casa. Y con Kiku de los mejores humos de la casa! Jajaja

- ¿Para quién patinas ahora?
Para The Conference, Deshi, Sifika, Kizer, Undercover y estoy negociando con Tsg (una marca de protecciones).

- ¿No estabas en Chimera?
Si estaba pero la marca era muy dark y no pegaba con mi estilo. Preferí­a estar en Undercover porque es mas colorido y alegre. A parte me gustan mas y me representa mejor como patinador.

- ¿Tienes algún proyecto próximo cerca?
Tenemos un proyecto en marcha.  Es un corto para promocionar los nuevos Deshi Carbon.

- He oido por ahí­ algo de un pro model…
Si que es verdad, voy a tener un promodel!  la semana que viene sale la primera Kizer Rosca. Las guí­as son “blingbling oldschool” y super elegantes.

- Creo que ha llegado el momento de comprarme un Deshi, hablanos de tus impresiones del nuevo Carbon.
Yo personalmente patino con Deshi porque son muy ligeros, flexibles y cómodos. Los Carbon te propocionan mucha seguridad para hacer lo que quieras en el sentido de los trucos, es como llevar unas bambas con guí­as.

- ¿Que setup estás patinando ahora?
Los Carbon con placas Deshi Ch y Type-M team 2008 por el momento, tendré mi combo especial la semana que viene.

- ¿Con cuánto dinero llegaste a España?
Aproximadamente 1000€. Al principio fue muy duro, pero lo he superado porque tení­a muchas ganas de patinar con todos mis amigos aquí­ y tambien me ha ayudado a madurar.

- ¿Estás contento con tu vida en Barcelona?
Si mucho. Patino mucho aquí­ y tengo mi novia siempre cerca.

- Debes añorar Brasil en algunos momentos.
Si porque ahí­ tengo a muchos amigos y a la familia ahí­ lejos. Aquí­ me lo paso genial pero siempre está eso alli.

- ¿Hay algo de la escena que te gustarí­a haber traido de allí­?
La motivación que tiene la gente de allí­ para patinar. Esto lo echo mucho de menos. Y los cojones. Alli he visto cosas en 2004, amigos bajando barandas que se ven ahora en los videos.

- ¿Cuál ha sido tu mejor momento como patinador?
He vivido momentos muy buenos como patinar los X-Games en Brasil pero ahora es cuando mas disfruto.

- ¿Y el peor?
Cuando me rompí­ una costilla en Brasil. Tambien una de las peores lesiones fue cuando me rompí­ la claví­cula y me dejo 1 mes y medio en casa.

- ¿Cómo es un dí­a perfecto en la vida de Rosca?
Levantarme por la mañana abrir mi ventana y ver el dí­a precioso que hace, tomar mi cafe de la maquina de Steven, enchufo unas canciones, me aní­mo y me voy a patinar. Ahí­ es donde hago 1500 trucos y acierto 1498 vuelvo a casa muy contento y para terminar el dia me voy a cenar con mi novia.

- ¿Si algún dí­a tienes que dejar de patinar, que significará para tí­?
Un vacio. No se vivir sin adrenalina, la necesito en mi cuerpo, sin los patines me siento desnudo y deprimido.

- ¿Cuánto tiempo llevas en esto?
14 años sin parar, solo he parado cuando he estado lesionado sino patino siempre que puedo.

- ¿Porqué engancha tanto patinar? ¿Qué es lo que hace?
Aparte que lo disfrutas te superas a ti mismo, vas madurando y esto lo compaginas con tu vida diária. Es como tener dos caras, es como estar a otro nivel. Si ves a un tio chulo que te ve bajar una baranda pues se queda flipando, por muy duro que sea te ve hacer eso y dice “yo no puedo hacer eso”. Yo me siento como con poderes con los patines puestos. Los sueños los convierto en realidad y tambien con el kendama jajaja.

- ¿Qué es lo que mas te gusta? ¿Patinar en si o nuestro estilo de vida, nuestra cultura?
Todo en general, patinar para mi y la cultura que lo envuelve, los amigos que haces, etc.

- He podido ver que no sueltas el Kendama ni por la calle. ¿Quién es mejor Kiku o tu?
Yo! jajaja Aunque Kiku es muy bueno y tiene sus trucos jajaja. Yo tengo que confiar en mi. Estamos ahí­, hay pique! Una vez estábamos en el metro y un tio trajeado nos pidió que era ese juego porque Kiku y yo estábamos disfrutando mucho.

 - ¿Crees que algún dí­a tendremos el reconocimiento que merecemos?

Si dentro de 15 años, no ahora. Dentro de 8 años el patinaje estará en los Juegos Olí­mpicos, no se si mi cuerpo aguantará. Tardará mucho pero llegará algún dí­a, estoy seguro, y lo disfrutaré igual viéndolo, por ejemplo con Fabinho.

- ¿Que tiene que pasar para que ese dí­a llegue?
Mas indústrias nacionales para poder evolucionar, que haya un avance del patinaje, por lo contrario tardaremos mas.

- ¿Cómo ves la indústria en España?
Muy floja, casi no hay industria, pero las marcas que hay son auténticas.

- ¿Te vamos a ver por Mallorca próximamente?
Si mucho! principalmente en verano a ponerme morenito jajaja. Mas todaví­a con mi novia. Y a patinar.

-¿Como es tener una novia que comprenda tanto tu aficion?
La verdad es que compaginamos el tema muy bien, es una niña que me apoya en todo.

-¿Porque aun duermes con un colchón hinchable y no te has comprado un colchón normal ?
Jajajaja porque aún no ha sobrado pasta!

-¿Si te dijeran de cortarte el pelo que les dirí­as ?
Que si lo hago mi novia me corta los huevos! jajaja

-¿Cual fue tu motivo para mudarte de Málaga a Barcelona ?
Para estar mas cerca de mi novia y para hacer posibles shows con Nel Martin.

-¿DrumandBass o Electro ?
Las dos.

-¿Cual seria un spot ideal para Rosca ?
Una barra con hierba con césped o un skatepark perfecto.

-¿Cuando dejarás de comer pasta?
Nunca! jajaja pasta es vida

- ¿Quieres dar las gracias alguien?

Hello, my name is Jefferson Santana, Rosca for friends and I´m 29 years old, yeah baby!

- How is your life these days? What do you do for living?
Well my life is pretty complicated. For living i work and to take the stress outI skate, that´s what I enjoy most in my life.

- Who do you skate for?
For The Conference, Deshi, Sifika, Kizer, Undercover and I´m talking with TSG (a helmet and pad brand)

- You´re not riding for Chimera anymore?
Yes I was but it was a very “dark” brand and it didn´t fit with my style. I prefer being in Undercover because it´s more colorful and happy. I like it more, it represents me better as a skater.

- Any nearby project your involved in?
We are in a project right now, a short film about the new Deshi Carbon skate.

- I heard something about a pro model…
Yeah thats true, Im gonna have a promodel! Next week the first Kizer Rosca will be out. The frames are “blingbling oldschool”, very elegant.

- I think the time has came to buy my first Deshis. Talk to us about the new Carbon skate that will be released.
Personally I skate them because they are very light, flexible and comfortable. The Carbon gives you a lot of security to do the tricks you want, It´s like wearing kicks with frames.

- What setup are you riding right now?
The Carbons with Dechi Ch soulplate and M-Type Team 08 for the moment, I´ll have my special combo next week.

- How much money did you have when you arrived to Spain?Something around 1000 €. At first it was really hard for me, but I got over it because I reallywanted to skate with all my friends here and also it has helped me so much to be more mature.

- ¿Are you happy with your life in Barcelona?
Yes, very much! I skate a lot here and I have my girlfriend close to me.

- You must miss Brazil sometimes.
Yes because I have a lot of friends and my family far away. I have a lot of fun here but I alwayshave that there.

- Is there something from the brazilian scene you miss?
The motivation skaters have over there. I miss that a lot. And the guts. I´ve seen tricks in 2004 there thatare apearing in videos now, crazy handrails and things like that.

- As a skater, which has been your best moment?
I have enjoyed very good moments like skating in the X-Games in Brazil but now is when I enjoy the most.

- And the worst?
When I broke a rib in Brazil. Also one of my worst injuries was when I broke a collarbone and I was stuck a month and a half at home.

- Hw is a perfect day in the life of Rosca?
Wake up in the morning, open my window and seeing the most perfect day. Have a cofee from Steven cofeemaker, plug in some songs, get juiced and going skating. That day I nail 1498 from 1500 tries and I go back home so happy to finish the day going out for dinner with my girl.

- If you ever have to quit skating, what will that mean for you?
A feeling of emptiness. I can´t live without adrenaline, I need it in my body, witout skates I feel naked and depressed.

- How much time have you been in the game?
14 years nonstop, I´ve only paused because of my injuries, if not I skate everytime I can.

- What is so addicting in skating? What does it do to us?
You enjoy when you overcome yourself, you mature and you combine that with your everday life. It´s like having 2 sides, like in one you are on another level. You can see this diehard guy on the street, and he watches you skate a handrail he´s gonna flipout, it doesn´t matter how hard he is, when he sees that he will think “I can´t do that”. I feel like if I have special powers with my skates on. My dreams come true and with my kendama too! hahaha

- What do you like most? Skating or our lifestyle, all our culture?
Everything in general. Skating for me and the culture that´s around it, all the friends you make, etc.

- I can see you love Kendama. Who is better Kiku or you?
Me! hahaha Kiku is very good and has very good tricks hahaha. I trust myself. We have our battles at home. One time we where in the subway and a suited guy asked us what was the name of that game because he saw us having so much fun with it.

- Do you think someday skating will have the recognition it deserves?
Yes but not now. In 8 years skating will be in the Olimpic Games but I don´t know if my body will resist. It will take sometime, but someday we will have it I´m sure of that. I´ll enjoy watching it, with Fabinho for example.

- What has to happen to make that day closer?
More industry to help evolve, to make a change in skating, if not it will take some time.

- How do you see the industry in Spain?
Very weak, there´s almost none. But the brands that exist are authentic.

- Are we gonna see you in Mallorca soon?
Yes a lot! Manly in summer so I can work my tan hahaha. And with my girl and skating too.

-How is it to have a girlfriend that understands your hobbie so well?
We get along this subject very well, she supports me in everything.

-Why do you still sleep in a inflatable bed ?
Hahahaha because I haven´t had any extra money!

-If someone tells you to cut your hair, what would you say?
That if I do so my girl will cut off my balls! hahaha

-Why did you move from Malaga to Barcelona?
To get closer to my girl and do shows with Nel Martin.

-DrumandBass or Electro ?
Both

-A perfect spot for Rosca.
Arail with grass on the side or a perfect skatepark.

-Are you ever gonna stop eating pasta?
Never! hahaha pasta is life!

-You favourite skatepark?
