Me llamo Worapoj Boonnim “Note”, tengo 25 años, vivo en Samutprakarn city, cerca de Bangkok, llevo 14 años patinando y patino para The Conference, BHC, thirdimpact y crash!boom!bang!
-Por que te llaman “Note”?
Es mi apodo! mi familia me lo puso!
-Como te sientes al estar patinando cada dia con uno de los patinadores mas reconocidos a nivel mundial, Jef Stockwell?
Es genial patinar con el, le veia en dvds cuando empezaba a patinar, y es una muy buena experiencia hacer un tour juntos, el tiene una gran personalidad y me encanta como patina! lo he pasado genial!
-Que te ha gustado mas de Barcelona? aparte de los spots
Es una ciudad genial con un buen clima, el lenguaje tambien…”que pasa!” haha! Barcelona es realmente bonita, por ejemplo el jardín de Gaudí (Park Gí¼ell) y la iglesia (Sagrada Familia) son increibles!
-Te gustaria volver a España?
Por supuesto!
-Cuando vendras a Mallorca?
No tengo ni idea, espero poder ir en Junio si vuelvo a España.
-Despues de estar acostumbrado a la comida de Tailandia, que tal te has adaptado a la gastronomia mediterranea?
Me gusta mucho! me encanta probar la comida de otros paises.
-No sabemos mucho de la escena del inline en Tailandia, cuentanos como está el tema.
Hay una buena escena en Tailandia, buenos patinadores pero no mucha exposición! seguimos adelante paso a paso gracias a internet y competiciones como los Asian X-Games y otras donde los patinadores tailandeses
estan bien representados!
-Dinos algunos de los mejores patinadores de tu pais.
El mas famoso es Jeerasak Tassorn, hace mucho que patina y en competiciones ha quedado en buen lugar (X-Games, LG USA), mi hermano Norachai Boonnim patina muy bien, y mi crew “Savang”, eso es!
-Hay algun blog especializado en patinaje en Tailandia?
solo un foro, pero lo siento, esta escrito con el alfabeto tailandes!
-No hemos sabido demasiado sobre ti desde que Europa te descubrio en la Winterclash de 2008, tienes algun plan de futuro para hacer tu nombre mas conocido?
Si, quiero sacar profiles, competir en la Fise de Francia y en el BCN extreme sports, y tambien hacer mas y mas cosas este año en Conference Mag y en Arrogance (revista francesa), y espero poder hacer un tour por Inglaterra
y españa.
-Como hemos dicho, no sabemos demasiado de ti en Europa, pero cuando has venido has causado una gran impresión, (2º en winterclash 2008 y 3º en 2010) para cuando un promodel?
No lo se, cuando pueda ir a mas competiciones, tener mas profiles, patinar al maximo! espero algun dia poder tener un patin con mi nombre!
-Cual ha sido tu mejor momento como patinador?
Patinar con Jeff en Barcelona y la primera Winterclash cuando competí con Erik!
-Has pensado en ir a vivir a Europa o USA para estar mas cerca de la industria?
Si, lo he pensado, quizas pruebe de ir a Europa por un tiempo, seis meses o un año.
-Que piensas de los eventos de WRS?
Es genial ver que hay eventos como estos! por primera vez tenemos una asociación que une a los mejores eventos y promueve el patinaje en todo el mundo, tambien en Asia!
-Te veremos este año en algun evento de WRS?
Si! seguro!
-Que patinadores te han inspirado a la hora de patinar?
Muchos, especialmente Dominic Sagona, Chiaki Ito y Stockwell!
-Como va todo con The Conference?
Va todo bien, me ayudan dandome patines y mucho material, pero lo mas importante es que me ayudan a moverme a
competiciones como la Winterclash o al tour en España
-Cual es tu setup actual?
USD carbon blancos con soulplate azul, guias kizer fluid, fix bearings y ruedas BHC

-Tell us, what is your name, age, where do you live, years skating and what are your sponsors?
My name is Worapoj Boonnim “note”, 25 yrs old, Samutprakarn city near Bangkok, 14 yrs skating,

-Why do they call you Note?
It’s my nickname! my family give it to me!
-How does it feel to skate every day with one of the most famous skaters worldwide, Jeff Stockwell?
It’s great to skate with him, i used to watch him on dvd when i start skating! And its really good experience to do a tour together, he got so nice personality and i just love the way he skating! good time!
-What did you like most about Barcelona, apart from the spots?
It’s really nice city with good weather, the language also, “que pasa?” haha. Barcelona is really beautiful, for example Gaudi garden (Park Gí¼ell) and church (Sagrada Familia) are amazing!
-Would you like to come back to Spain?
Of course!
-When are you coming to mallorca?
I have no idea, hope i can go in june if i come back Spain
-After a life in Thailand mostly, how are you finding mediterranean food?
I like it a lot! i love try different food from different country,
-We don’t know much about the Thai skate scene, please tell us how it is.
We got good scene in Thailand, many good riders but not many exposure! it grow up step by step thanks to internet and competition like asia xgames or many good contest where thai skaters goes and represent well!
-Tell us about another of Thailand’s best skaters.
The most famous is Jeerasak Tassorn he been skatin for long, and did many good place (Xgames, LG in usa) after that, my brother Norachai Boonnim skate very well, all my crew the “Savang” that s it!!
-Do you have any specialized blog about rolling in Tailand?
Only Forum but sorry its only written in thai!
-We don’t know much about you in Europe, but we did discover you at the 2008 Winterclash, do you have any plans in the future to make your name more famous? Video profiles, interviews, contests, etc?
Yes i will do many profile, and compete in France (fise), Barcelona extreme sport, just try to do more and more this year also in Conference magazine, arrogance (french) hope i can do tour in England and Spain.
-So you are not known so much in Europe, but when you have been here you have always made a big impression (2nd Winterclash 2008, 3rd Winterclash 2010) when do you expect to get a pro model?
I dont know, when i just try to do more contest, more video section, skate my best! hopefully one day i ll get my signature skate!
-When has been your favourite time as a skater?
Skate with jeff in Barcelona and first time winterclash when i battle with Erik!
-Have you ever thought of moving to USA or Europe to be closer to the skate industry?
Yes i think about, i ll try to stay in Europe longer (6 month or 1years)
-How do you see all the WRS events?
It s great to see event like this! first time we have skater association who unify all the best events and promote inline skating everywhere in the world and also in asia!
-Are we gonna see you in more wrs events this year?
Yes! for sure!
-Which skaters have inspired your skating?
Many skaters, especially Dominic Sagona, Chiaki Ito, Stockwell!
-How are things with The Conference?
Its gone well, they support me with skates and many stuff but most important they help me to move on event like Winterclash 2010 and Spain tour.
